Job summary

OpenEd is seeking a Processing Specialist to review and process student schedules, enrollment packets, and reimbursement requests from families. You will ensure timely, accurate handling and maintain friendly communication with parents.

You will verify orders, entry data, support procurement, and collaborate with teams to meet compliance across federal, state, and local rules. This role reports to the Processing Support Team Lead and requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent and US work

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution, or relevant experience.
• Proven administrative or clerical experience, especially in data entry and record keeping.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets).
• Available to work during traditional business hours in the Mountain Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Process student schedules within a 14-day turnaround with data cross-checks.
• Review and process reimbursement claims within 14 days in line with policies.
• Verify orders and resolve discrepancies with invoices.
• Review enrollment packets to ensure all required documents are present.
• Enter student records accurately and keep enrollment information up to date.
• Support procurement by processing direct orders for supplies.
• Communicate with parents professionally and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide clear information to families.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions.
• Lead by example, upholding OpenEd’s values and professional integrity.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and OpenEd policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
