Austin Benefits Group in Michigan is seeking a Client Benefits Coordinator to be the operational heartbeat of our client service model. You’ll process enrollments, manage eligibility changes, conduct audits, and ensure every client and employee receives timely, accurate support that keeps benefits running smoothly.

The role requires meticulous data handling, collaboration with carriers, COBRA and life-event processing, and proactive outreach to resolve enrollment issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of administrative or data entry experience.
• HR/benefits background preferred.
• Strong proficiency with HR platforms and data systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under deadline pressure.
• Effective communication, especially with sensitive inquiries.

Responsabilités

• Process enrollments, eligibility changes, audits, and life events with speed and accuracy.
• Meet and exceed standards for enrollment processing and audit accuracy.
• Conduct regular audits to verify enrollment data and resolve discrepancies.
• Obtain missing HR data from clients and support life event documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers and clients to resolve Evidence of Insurability requests.
• Manage COBRA eligibility determinations and coordinate with vendors when needed.
• Audit API/EDI/834 integrations to avoid transmission errors.
• Maintain up-to-date records in the Agency Management System.
• Proactively reach out to clients and new hires on missing enrollments.
• Collaborate with Client Experience and Analytics teams as needed.
