Job summary

Cobalt Benefits Group LLC in Boston is seeking an Eligibility Benefits Representative to join our team. You will help enroll plan participants in self-funded insurance options and support clients and members with enrollment questions while delivering top-notch service.

Reporting to the Eligibility Manager, you will process enrollments, gather documents, assist with audits, and coordinate benefits matters in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior customer-focused work experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, and collaborate with multiple groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist external and internal customers with enrollment-related enquiries.
• Support internal teams with New Group Implementation.
• Gather and organize documents for internal and external audits.
• Review and process enrollment questions and appeals per plan guidelines.
• Provide excellent client services when communicating with members and vendors.
• Process matters related to coordination of benefits, dependent maximum age, and open enrollment.
• File, record, and submit both electronic and paper records.
• Support the organization’s vision, team and aid in special projects and other duties as assigned.
