Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc in the San Francisco area is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to provide technical engineering oversight and design team management on key projects. This leadership role combines project scope with fiscal and resource planning.

You will mentor staff, develop design fees, coordinate with project managers and regulators, and ensure compliance with codes. Travel up to 25% and a path to shareholder opportunities as part of Rosendin’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Minimum of 8 years of Engineering Experience; PE license required.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and applicable codes; strong communication skills.
• Field experience is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and develop a design fee for the work requested.
• Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering and production resources.
• Oversee Engineers, Designers and Modeling staff assigned to team or project work.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Owner; lead CAC efforts.
• Perform value engineering and act as Engineer of Record when needed.
