Job summary

Rosendin in Lennox Park is seeking an MPS Assistant Project Manager to provide administrative and construction support for the Program Management team. This role involves overseeing project documentation, managing subcontractor contracts, and ensuring compliance with quality control standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, at least 8 years of engineering experience, and be a registered Professional Engineer in the U.S. The position offers full-time hours and various benefits, including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and medical insurance.

Job Summary

The MPS Assistant Project Manager is responsible for providing overall administrative and construction support for our Program Management team, including financial, resource allocation and logistical leadership of engineering projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and project meeting minutes.
  • Supervise and direct overall project activities as assigned by the Head of Programs, including planning, coordinating, and resolving problem areas while ensuring policies and standards are maintained.
  • Maintain change order, submittal, and document (drawing) control logs; prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
  • Create accurate and timely contract submittals for review.
  • Issue subcontractors’ contracts.
  • Create and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Monitor the project quality control plan, identifying and documenting issues for corrective action.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation for Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Keep the Warranty Log up to date.
  • Represent the company/project in client and subcontractor meetings.
  • Assist and coordinate technically with field personnel assigned to the area of responsibility.
  • Monitor other contractors’ activities and progress.
  • Other duties as assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
  • Registration as a licensed US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
  • Field (startup, commissioning and troubleshooting) experience is strongly recommended.
  • Education and experience may be a combination of relevant training and experience.

Travel
  • Up to 25% travel (excluding local field visits).
Working Conditions
  • General work environment includes sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Primarily indoors with fluorescent lighting and air conditioning; noise level typically low to medium, possible high on job sites.
