Job summary

Terrestrial Energy Inc. in the US is seeking a Project Manager - Engineering to lead and coordinate multiple complex projects within the Reactor Pilot Program and Fuel Line Pilot Facility, focusing on IMSR technology and nuclear safety.

You will partner with engineering, R&D, procurement, safety, licensing, and governance teams to deliver on time and within budget while navigating regulatory requirements and high‑performance team leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7–10 years of project management experience in complex technical environments.
  • At least 3 years in the nuclear industry or comparable highly regulated sector.
  • Proven track record managing projects with budgets exceeding $5M.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear reactor systems and fuel cycle processes.
  • Familiarity with nuclear regulatory frameworks (DOE, NRC, CNSC, or international equivalents).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise and build collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Proficient with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio.
  • Ability to adapt plans to changing deadlines and business needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead simultaneous project streams across the Reactor Pilot Program and Fuel Line Pilot Facility.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, procurement, safety, QA, licensing.
  • Implement project management methodologies appropriate for nuclear technology development.
  • Track and report project progress, risks, and mitigation to senior management.
  • Present project updates and resource requirements to governance committees.
