Job summary

Terrestrial Energy in the United States is seeking a Project Manager - Engineering to lead and coordinate multiple complex projects within our Reactor Pilot Program and Fuel Line Pilot Facility. Reporting to Systems Engineering Manager, you will align schedules, budgets, and resources across engineering, procurement, safety, QA, licensing and regulatory teams to advance IMSR development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead simultaneous project streams across the Reactor Pilot Program and Fuel Line Pilot Facility, ensuring alignment with IMSR development objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies for multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, safety, quality assurance, licensing and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and maintain project management methodologies appropriate for nuclear technology development environments.
  • Track and report project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and stakeholders.

The Project Manager - Engineering, reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, is primarily responsible for leading and coordinating multiple complex projects within our Reactor Pilot Program and Fuel Line Pilot Facility, while contributing to the design and development of our Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR) technology. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management excellence, and the ability to navigate the complex regulatory and safety requirements of advanced nuclear technology development.
