Job summary

Hargrove Engineers in the United States seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager to oversee moderately complex projects from scope through closeout. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage schedule, budget, and safety/compliance efforts across multi-discipline engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a PE and/or PMP, with up to a decade of related experience, and excels at stakeholder communication, risk management, and delivering within cost and schedule constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.
• Certification: Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
• Up to 10 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.

Responsibilities

• Define Scope, Objectives, and Deliverables and align with business goals.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and activities.
• Control budget and financial performance within approved limits.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance on petrochemical projects.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee procurement and contractor management and monitor performance.
• Track progress, KPIs, and implement corrective actions to stay on scope.
• Communicate with stakeholders and leadership with clear reporting.
• Manage change control, quality, and project closeout activities.
