Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee moderately complex engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will lead scope definition, cost control, and client communications, coordinating with resource leaders to optimize hours and avoid overruns.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, up to 10 years of PM experience, and PMP accreditation is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.
• Certification: PMP registration is highly preferred.
• Up to 10 years of experience in engineering and project management.
• Knowledge of Hargrove project execution procedures and project controls tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of moderately complex engineering projects to deliver on time, within budget and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with Engineering Resource Leaders to estimate professional services hours and control costs.
• Lead client communications, scope definition, change management, and closeout.
• Ensure timely invoicing, change notices, and reporting; maintain project plan in Vision.
• Develop and mentor a productive project team and maintain strong client relationships.
