Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks an Assistant Engineering Project Manager in Lake Charles, LA to support project management and control activities within Engineering. The role reports to the Supervising Project Manager from the Lake Charles office at 844 Ryan Street.

You will assist with data accuracy, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Management/Business and experience in project controls, scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• Experience with project controls and scheduling is preferred.
• Ability to research and compile reports with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update project data across Smartsheet, trackers, logs, and reporting tools.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, dashboards, and summaries with data accuracy.
• Coordinate status updates from engineering leads and stakeholders per reporting cadence.
• Escalate missing inputs and schedule impacts to the EPM.
• Support EPM-led meetings with scheduling, agendas, minutes, and follow-up.
• Maintain action items with clear owners, due dates, and escalation of overdue items.
