Job summary

Dashiell, based in Lake Charles, LA, is seeking an Assistant Engineering Project Manager to support project management and controls within the Engineering Department. You will assist the Project Manager to ensure projects are executed on schedule and within scope, reporting to the Supervising Project Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with experience in project controls and strong proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• Experience in project controls is required; power industry experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage data, schedules, and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update project data across Smartsheet, trackers, logs, and reporting tools.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, dashboards, and summaries; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate status updates with engineering leads and stakeholders; escalate issues.
• Support EPM-led meetings with scheduling, minutes, and follow-up.
• Maintain action items with ownership, due dates, and escalation of overdue items.
