Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Engineering People Manager in the Air Traffic Business Area to lead 15–20 engineers across Agile Release Trains. The role supports career development, performance management, and workforce health in a hybrid 3 days onsite/2 days remote setup.

You will collaborate with ART leadership, ensure HR policy adherence, and drive AI-first engineering culture. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience with performance management processes and goal setting.
• Experience supporting hiring processes including job description development and interviewing.

Responsibilities

• Manage 15–20 Leidos engineers across one or more ARTs as their direct people manager.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑ones, quarterly check‑ins, and annual performance reviews.
• Drive individualized career development plans and identify growth opportunities.
• Coordinate staffing and resource allocation with ART leadership and program management.
• Support hiring activities including requisition development and onboarding.
