Dorman Products in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Manager of Engineering Operations to lead the engineering functions, align resources, and drive multi‑disciplinary teams toward timely product launches.

You will manage design engineers and project managers, oversee development from concept to production, and ensure GD&T, quality, and manufacturability standards are met while mentoring staff and partnering with Product Management.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; an associate’s degree is required.
• 6–8 years of engineering experience in design or manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of engineering leadership or people management preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional design teams.
• Experience in powersports, automotive or related manufacturing environments preferred.
• SolidWorks, GD&T, FEA and MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering operations for the Shreveport site and align resources.
• Manage design engineers and project managers to meet business objectives.
• Oversee product development from concept to production launch.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and quality.
• Ensure compliance with GD&T, design standards, and validation criteria.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent; conduct performance evaluations.
• Review project health, milestones, and risk mitigation plans.
• Partner with Product Management to define product requirements.
