Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing to lead multi-site operations, shape the manufacturing strategy, and ensure delivery against customer commitments while improving margins.

The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, safety and quality systems, and collaboration with Supply Chain, Engineering, Product and Finance to drive continuous improvement and capital planning across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or operations, including multi-site responsibility.
• Proven track record of leading large, complex manufacturing organizations with strong operational and financial results.
• Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence frameworks.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, capital planning, and cost management.
• Experience in industrial, automotive, transportation, or related manufacturing environments preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence across functions, and drive execution at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the manufacturing strategy aligned with corporate goals, growth plans, and customer commitments.
• Lead all aspects of manufacturing operations across multiple sites focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Drive lean manufacturing adoption, standard work, and performance management systems across facilities.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with EH&S regulations.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Product, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure readiness for new products and volume changes.
• Oversee capital planning, budgeting, and cost management to improve margins.
