Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Warehouse Engineering Manager to lead engineering initiatives across our distribution network. You will optimize layout, storage configurations, and material flows to maximize capacity and reduce costs.

You will mentor junior staff, enforce labor standards, and develop compelling business cases for improvements. This role balances office design work with hands-on site activity at multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field with strong emphasis on facility design and optimization.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects across multiple sites.
• Solid experience in capacity planning, labor productivity, throughput and space utilization.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse engineering initiatives across multiple distribution centers to optimize layout, slotting, and material handling.
• Analyze pick paths, putaway zones, racking, and storage density to boost productivity and space efficiency.
• Govern labor standards through validation, performance tracking, and refinement to support workforce efficiency.
• Create, update, and maintain precise warehouse layouts using AutoCAD or similar software for current and future needs.
• Collaborate with Operations and cross-functional teams to implement improvements and sustain benefits.
