Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Warehouse Engineering Manager to optimize the interface between physical and system-configured warehouses across distribution facilities. You will lead layout, slotting, labor standards governance, and process routings, while guiding junior OPEX team members.

The role emphasizes capacity, productivity, and cost improvements, with strong AutoCAD documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may substitute.
• Five+ years of experience in warehouse engineering, distribution design, or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Leads warehouse engineering across facilities, including layout, slotting, and capacity optimization.
• Optimizes pick paths, zones, racking, and storage density to improve productivity and space use.
• Maintains AutoCAD layouts and develops designs for current and future operations.
• Develops analyses for capacity, labor, throughput, and space utilization to identify improvements.
• Leads problem-solving and corrective-action methods (8D, 5 Why, PDCA).
