Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to provide administrative, operational, and project support to the Engineering team. This role ensures smooth daily department functioning through work-order management, scheduling, documentation, and compliance tracking.

The position acts as a liaison between hotel departments, vendors, and engineering leadership to maintain a safe, guest-ready property that reflects brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with work-order management and scheduling.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assign, and close work orders in the maintenance system.
• Prioritize service requests and route to engineering staff.
• Maintain records including safety logs and manuals.
• Support budgets, purchase orders, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and regulations.
• Coordinate inspections and contractor access.
• Communicate with departments about maintenance needs.
