Job summary

Highgate, a leader in real estate investment and hospitality management, seeks an Engineering Coordinator at The Newbury Boston. You will support the Director of Engineering with administrative duties, purchase orders, scheduling, vendor coordination, and life-safety documentation.

Qualifications

• Some college or secretarial/business degree is preferred.
• Basic accounting skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and order materials for Engineering.
• Post schedules every two weeks for Engineers.
• Call in vendors for third-party work.
• Maintain life-safety and health documents in DOE files.
• Keep the Alice system up to date for Engineering.
• Track and file purchasing records and status.
• Maintain a follow-up system for ordered materials.
• Monitor departmental expenses and process invoices.
• Attend hotel meetings and trainings; maintain professional appearance.
