Job summary

isolved seeks an Engineering Manager for Platform Engineering to lead one or more software teams in a hands-on, player-coach role. You will own health, growth, and output of your teams, partner with product management and architecture, and deliver roadmap items as shipped software.

You will stay close to code, review architecture, and champion AI-assisted development adoption across teams, driving modern tooling and strong delivery across sprints.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related engineering and people-management experience.
• Hands-on leader who can review code and guide architecture decisions in real time.
• Strong delivery track record in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).
• Experience coaching engineers, managing performance, and developing careers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor one or more software engineering teams within the Platform Pod.
• Partner with product management on roadmap and delivery, shaping priorities.
• Identify and remove blockers; manage dependencies across teams and streams.
• Provide honest delivery status, root-cause analysis, and mitigation plans.
