Job summary

FanDuel Group is seeking a Senior Platform Engineering Manager to lead Engineering Managers and Platform Engineers across multiple teams. You will shape the roadmap for internal platform capabilities that enable engineers and AI agents to build, deploy and operate software safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Platform Engineering Director, you will develop managers and engineers, set direction, and ensure teams focus on the right priorities while enabling scalable, self-service platform

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading across multiple engineering teams, ideally in platform engineering, infrastructure, SRE or DevOps.
• Experience developing and coaching Engineering Managers and engineers into high-performing teams.
• Track record delivering platform capabilities or internal products at scale that improve developer productivity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Managers and Platform Engineers across multiple teams, providing direction and alignment.
• Develop managers and engineers through coaching, feedback and career development.
• Shape roadmaps with Product to align priorities and investments for platform capabilities.
• Drive the development and adoption of the Internal Developer Platform, with self-service tooling and secure-by-default workflows.
• Influence architecture and engineering direction across teams and promote high standards.
