Job summary

isolved is seeking an Engineering Manager for Platform Engineering to lead one or more software teams within the Platform Pod. This hands-on, player-coach role focuses on people, delivery, and process, aligning roadmap with architecture and product management.

You will coach senior engineers, own team health, and champion AI-assisted development across the organization, while maintaining technical credibility through code reviews and architecture discussions.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of related engineering experience, including experience managing engineers.
Bachelor's degree required.
Proven ability to lead software teams and deliver in Agile environments.
Strong technical credibility in modern web/.NET stack and architecture.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools in team workflows.

Responsibilities

Manage one or more software engineering teams within the Platform Pod, owning delivery commitments and team health.
Partner with product management on roadmaps and quarterly planning, grounding commitments in capacity.
Identify blockers and dependencies, and provide concrete mitigation plans.
Conduct regular 1-on-1s, coach engineers, and drive career growth.
Maintain technical credibility via code reviews and architecture discussions; lead AI tool adoption.
