Geniuslink is seeking a Manager, Platform Engineering to lead a team that powers our internal platform. You will own scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and the observability stack, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency across environments.

You will mentor a small team while collaborating with product engineering and leadership to align platform capabilities with architectural decisions. This role offers remote work with global reach and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production cloud infrastructure experience
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems
• Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for production
• Strong observability knowledge with Grafana/Prometheus/Loki
• Containerization expertise (Docker/Kubernetes/Nomad)
• Strong incident management and RCA skills
• Ability to balance long-term architecture with short-term delivery
• Collaborative communication across teams and leadership

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate a scalable cloud infrastructure to support high availability and performance
• Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe deployments
• Implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code to standardize environments and reduce drift
• Build, operate, and improve observability systems for visibility into health and performance
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems; drive improvements
• Partner with engineering teams to improve developer workflows and reliability, align platform with architecture
• Establish and enforce best practices for platform and deployment excellence
• Optimize infrastructure costs and resource utilization
• Embed security best practices into infrastructure and deployment workflows
• Lead, mentor, and grow a small platform engineering team
• Drive improvements to developer experience through tooling and automation
• Lead capacity planning, prioritization, and hiring for the platform function
