Job summary

Talent With Heart in Lynchburg, VA seeks an Engineering Manager to lead engineering resources, define departmental strategies, and ensure on-time delivery of engineered-to-order products. The role acts as Chief Engineer and reports to the Director of Engineering.

Promotion path exists within 6–9 months to Director of Engineering, with relocation package available. Strong ASME/QA experience and HVAC product knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10 years manufacturing experience in heat exchangers or HVAC preferred.
• 3 years managerial experience; Virginia PE desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering resources to achieve on-time product delivery.
• Maintain project and sales order tracking systems.
• Oversee product maintenance, enhancements, and testing per market demands.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2008 and Nuclear Quality programs.
• Mentor staff in processes, products, and quality improvements.
• Coordinate with QA and Shop Floor for timely support.
