Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager in Lynchburg, VA to direct engineering resources, ensure on-time delivery, and lead cross-functional teams. The role entails expert knowledge of ASME codes, BOM strategy, and continuous process improvements for heat-exchanger/HVAC products.

Promotion to Director possible within 6–9 months. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 3 years of managerial experience, and ideally a Virginia PE.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a BS in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
• Three (3) years managerial experience. Registration as a Virginia PE is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage departmental workflow to achieve on-time delivery and KPI targets.
• Maintain up-to-date project and sales order tracking systems.
• Dispositio n RMA's in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate resources to provide timely support to QA and the Shop Floor on demand.
• Develop and implement a BOM strategy for all products in support of strategic objectives.
• Review and approve engineering documents.
