Amgen Inc. in Ohio is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead maintenance and engineering for packaging lines at the Amgen Ohio manufacturing facility. The role focuses on coordinating a skilled team, driving equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvements to minimize downtime.

You will develop maintenance strategies, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate across site networks. Travel is expected to ~15% to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and related experience as listed in qualifications.
• Experience with maintenance of packaging lines and equipment in manufacturing.
• Strong technical writing and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and maintenance services to pharmaceutical packaging lines.
• Lead a team of maintenance and engineering personnel across operations.
• Support equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, triage, and process improvements.
• Ensure on-the-floor support to reduce production downtime and improve safety/compliance.
