Job summary

The role requires a PE or SRO license with nuclear experience, and a strong background in engineering leadership, regulation, and project delivery within a nuclear power environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) or related science.
• Professional Engineer license or SRO license with 5 years engineering or related experience, including 1 year nuclear plant experience.
• Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 standard for personnel selection, qualification, and training in nuclear plants.
• Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements and pass medical examination/testing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage performance and development of assigned engineering personnel aligned with site and corporate objectives.
• Directly and through subordinates fulfill engineering and technical leadership for short‑ and long‑term programs impacting site operations.
• Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Performance reviews for assigned staff.
• Contribute as senior resource to NGG-wide programs and initiatives on standardized engineering systems and processes.
• Perform other duties including emergency response, outage support, and departmental coverage as directed.
