Job summary

Constellation seeks an engineering leader to manage the engineering function at a nuclear-oriented site in New York, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality results. You will guide staff and align plant goals with corporate programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related science, a PE or SRO license, and 5 years of engineering plus nuclear experience. ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 familiarity and strong leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) or related science.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Active/Inactive SRO license with 5 years engineering or related experience, including 1 year of nuclear power plant experience.
• Maintain knowledge per ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants".
• Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements and pass medical exams/tests as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives and focus on high-quality engineering results.
• Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations.
• Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance review regarding assigned staff.
• Participate as senior resource to NGG-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized and enhanced engineering systems and processes.
• Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
