Job summary

Constellation Energy in the Town of Hastings, NY area seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function with a focus on station needs and regulatory compliance. You will oversee staff performance and development, directing programs that affect site operations and contributing to NGG-wide initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, a PE license or SRO status, and experience in nuclear power.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science with 5 years of engineering experience including 1 year in nuclear power.
• License Professional Engineer or active/inactive SRO license.
• Familiarity with ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 standard for personnel selection, qualification and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Direct and oversee engineering personnel to achieve high-quality results and development.
• Lead short- and long-term programs impacting site operations and coordinate with NGG-wide initiatives.
• Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Performance reviews for assigned staff.
• Support outage activities and emergency response as required.
