Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for the Safety Engineering Mobile Client team.

You will lead a group of engineers delivering security-critical mobile client systems across iOS and Android, partnering with Product, Legal, and Trust & Safety to define scope and deliver durable solutions. You will champion code quality, architectural integrity, and scalable delivery in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
9+ years software development experience; or advanced degrees with experience.
1+ year of technical leadership or engineering management experience.
Experience delivering production software in mobile, platform, or security-sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of engineers on safety- and security-critical mobile client systems.
Set technical direction and execution priorities across account integrity, authentication, reporting, and compliance initiatives.
Drive delivery on complex, high-urgency projects with multiple stakeholders and shifting requirements.
Partner with Product, Design, Legal, Trust & Safety, backend engineering, and other client teams to land durable solutions.
Raise the bar on engineering quality, operational excellence, and technical decision-making.
Hire and onboard strong engineering talent and develop senior ICs and leaders.
