Matchgroup is seeking a Mobile Engineering Manager for Hinge, responsible for leading a team of iOS and Android engineers to enhance user safety and trust. The role combines technical management with hands-on engineering responsibilities in Swift and Kotlin.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mobile engineering experience in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android).
• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• Empathetic, direct communicator with teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a blended team of iOS and Android engineers.
• Collaborate on Trust & Safety’s roadmap.
• Write production code on scoped projects.

Skills

Mobile engineering experience in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android)

Engineering management experience

Comfortable operating as a player-coach

Interest in AI tooling

Experience building consumer-facing features

Exposure to Trust & Safety
