Snap Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a team of engineers and define the technical direction for key products. You will partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and Operations to translate customer needs into scalable solutions across backend, distributed systems, and client applications.

The role requires a track record in building highly available products, strong leadership, and the ability to drive complex initiatives from strategy through delivery and operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
• 10+ years of post-Bachelor software development experience.
• 2+ years as an engineering manager or technical leader.
• Experience architecting distributed systems and business critical products.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Set technical vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to company priorities.
