DoorDash, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager with strong product sense to lead a team of 8+ engineers across Android, FullStack and Backend. You will own hiring in collaboration with recruiting to build a diverse and inclusive team.

You will partner with business and engineering leaders to translate needs into a world-class product and define the roadmap with stakeholders, while measuring impact with data teams. This is a cross-functional leadership role in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management experience leading a team of engineers (8+)
• Experience working on a user-facing product
• Extensive experience as an engineer in a product-focused environment

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, leadership and development for a team growing to 8+ engineers across Android, FullStack and Backend
• Own the hiring process for your team, in partnership with recruiting, to grow a diverse and inclusive team
• Collaborate with business and engineering leaders to understand needs and translate them into a world-class product
• Engage with internal stakeholders to define the roadmap and vision for the product
• Partner with analytics and data to measure impact and success of delivered features
