Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a pod of 8–10 engineers for DoorDash for Business. You will own a business-critical charter from roadmap to delivery, partner with Product, Design, and Sales Strategy, and scale a global product across regions.

You will build and grow the team, drive architectural decisions, and raise the bar on reliability and on-call operations, while collaborating with GTM partners to shape platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Have 2+ years managing engineers, including hiring and performance management.
• Shipped and operated production systems at scale.
• Led work spanning multiple teams or geographies.
• Set direction under ambiguity and decomposed into a roadmap.
• Own outcomes, not output, with focus on customer and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Own a business-critical charter end to end, setting technical direction and roadmap.
• Build and grow a team, hiring, leveling up, and retaining engineers.
• Work on a genuinely global product with regional variation considerations.
• Take on real architectural weight and consolidate onto a global stack.
• Raise the operational bar with on-call health, incidents, and reliability investments.
• Partner with go-to-market teams to align platform capabilities with enterprise needs.
