Job summary

DoorDash for Business is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a pod of 8-10 engineers and own a critical charter from roadmap to delivery. You will partner with Product, Design, and Sales Strategy & Operations to drive enterprise features and ensure reliability at scale.

You will oversee architectural decisions for a global stack, mentor engineers, and raise the bar on observability, testing, and on-call practices. Hybrid work in major U.S. metros is available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing engineers (including hiring and performance management).
• Shipped and operated production systems at scale.
• Led work spanning multiple teams or geographies.
• Set direction under ambiguity and decomposed charters into roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Own a business-critical charter end to end.
• Build and grow a high-performing pod of engineers.
• Coordinate with Product, Design, and Sales Strategy & Operations.
• Take on architectural weight for a global stack.
• Raise the operational bar with on-call health and reliability.
