Job summary

Robinhood’s Security Team seeks an Engineering Manager to build and lead the Insider Threat team, focusing on protecting and detecting internal threats to data and systems. The role is based in Menlo Park, CA with in-person attendance expected at least 5 days per week.

You will mentor engineers, drive incident response, forensics, and security analysis, and collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering leaders to deliver an impactful roadmap.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in engineering management.
• 6+ years experience in insider threat / abuse domain.
• Exceptional integrity and emotional intelligence.
• Experience leading operational teams.
• Experience developing and delivering information on program status for executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security engineers and analysts to hunt, detect, and respond to internal threats.
• Set direction for infrastructure, process, and standards with technical leads.
• Provide expertise in threat hunting, incident response, forensics, security analysis, and engineering.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers to identify solutions and increase impact.
• Collaborate with business, product, analytics, and engineering leaders on a roadmap for Insider Threat.
• Mentor and grow team members for immediate and long-term careers.
• Recruit top-tier talent at all seniority levels.
• Support teams confronting offensive, profane, and obscene materials.
• Develop documentation of Insider Threat landscape with Technical Program Managers.
