Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager with strong product sense to oversee transportation and logistics strategies for long-distance deliveries across the US. You will lead 8+ engineers across Android, FullStack and Backend, and own the hiring process with recruiting to build a diverse team.

You will collaborate with business and engineering leaders to understand needs, define the roadmap, and measure impact with analytics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management experience leading teams of 8+ engineers.
• Prior experience on a user-facing product.
• Extensive experience as an engineer in a product-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, leadership and development for a team growing to 8+ engineers across Android, FullStack and Backend.
• Own the hiring process for your team, in partnership with recruiting, to grow a diverse and inclusive team.
• Collaborate with business and engineering leaders to understand needs and translate them into a world-class product.
• Engage with key internal stakeholders to define the roadmap and vision for our product.
• Partner with analytics and data teams to measure impact and success of delivered features.
