Attentive is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of backend engineers building scalable, reliable systems powering our marketing platform. You’ll balance people leadership, technical direction, and execution while partnering with Product and other engineering teams to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

You’ll grow a high-performing team, guide architectural decisions, and ensure our systems evolve as Attentive scales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering.
• Strong backend engineering foundation.
• Experience building high-volume production systems.
• Ability to guide technical decisions and lead complex initiatives.
• Experience hiring and developing engineers.
• Strong cross-functional communication.
• Experience with AI-powered engineering tools is a plus.
