Attentive, a leading AI marketing platform, seeks a Staff Engineer to strengthen Platform Infrastructure. You will design scalable, reliable systems for billions of events daily, mentor engineers, and influence technical roadmaps across the organization.

You will collaborate with AI/ML, Data, Platform, and Product teams to deliver best-in-class services while driving cost optimization and observability initiatives. This is a high-impact, high-growth role in a distributed global team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Production Engineering, Backend Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Strategic thinker with ability to plan long-term technical roadmaps.
• Proficient in at least one language (Golang, Python, Java, TypeScript).
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, reliable, scalable systems.
• Deep understanding of production reliability concepts (SLIs/SLOs).
• Excellent verbal and written communication across teams.
• Experience in fast-paced, reliability-focused production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-impact solutions to improve reliability, observability, and incident management.
• Lead cross-team initiatives with technical leadership and guidance.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, Data, Platform, and Product teams on service development.
• Establish production standards, processes, and tooling for ops excellence.
• Champion reliability goals and implement SLI/SLO metrics across the org.
• Mentor team members and foster technical growth.
• Drive continuous improvement with innovative ideas.
