Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Data Foundations delivery, modernization, and AI-enabled capability rollout. You will oversee roadmap execution, data contracts, and cross-team collaboration with Product, Security, DevOps, and partner teams to ensure secure, observable, and scalable platforms.

You will manage engineers across legacy and new technologies, maintain release gates, and drive reusable tooling while protecting continuity for current consumers.

• Experience leading AI-enabled product delivery and governance.
• Proven ability to manage engineers across legacy and modern platforms.
• Track record of delivering releases with quality gates and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery for Data Foundations, including roadmap and migration sequencing.
• Set data contracts, quality gates, lineage, observability, and access controls.
• Coordinate with product, security, DevOps, SRE, and vendor teams to protect continuity.
• Coach capability growth, run performance conversations, and build succession.
