Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Data Foundations modernization, guiding AI-enabled enhancements while ensuring continuity for current consumers. You will manage a team delivering both legacy and modern .NET/React stacks in a distributed, multi‑timezone setup, with a focus on guardrails, evaluation, and responsible release practices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineers who ship to production.
• Experience delivering model-backed or AI-enabled capabilities to real users.
• Experience managing across legacy and target platforms while keeping shipping.
• Experience in regulated or privacy-sensitive environments; FERPA exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own planning, prioritization, and delivery commitments for your team and the operating rhythm that makes progress visible.
• Allocate people to work, manage escalations, and resolve blockers quickly and transparently.
