Ledgy is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a feature team building compensation and savings products. You’ll guide engineers, review PRs, and ship features that directly affect how employees understand and interact with equity, pensions, and carry.

The role blends hands-on coding with people leadership and AI-driven process improvements. You’ll mentor engineers, evolve technical direction, and partner with PM/Design to expand compensation coverage while maintaining a clear, accessible

Qualifications

2+ years in Engineering Management and 6+ years as a Software Engineer, with product-focused or domain-heavy experience.
Strong ownership of features with direct end-user impact and financial-domain sensitivity.
Comfort with scope evolution as compensation products grow and evolve.

Responsibilities

Set technical direction for the team and conduct 1:1s and growth conversations.
Promote AI-assisted engineering and introduce effective tooling across the team.
Own compensation and savings feature areas from design to code and delivery.
Ensure employee-facing experiences are clear and accurate for complex compensation structures.
Provide domain breadth as Ledgy expands into new compensation types.
