Job summary

Sierra is seeking a senior engineering leader to design and deliver production-grade AI agents, guiding a team through the full ADLC lifecycle—from pilot to deployment. You will collaborate with enterprises and startups to scale AI solutions across industries, while shaping the platform's future with research and product teams.

You’ll balance hands-on execution with scalable leadership, ensuring reliability, performance, and strong customer impact in rapid, mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
• Ability to guide teams through ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Hands-on leadership style with high standards and empathy.
• Proven ability to work closely with customers and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI agents with a hands-on approach.
• Own the ADLC lifecycle from pilot to deployment and iteration, coaching engineers.
• Partner with large enterprises and startups to scale AI agents across environments.
• Shape Sierra’s core platform through customer feedback and cross-team collaboration.
