Job summary

Sierra, based in San Francisco, seeks engineers to design and deliver production-grade AI agents for global brands. You will own the agent lifecycle from pilot to deployment, partnering with large enterprises and innovative startups to scale AI across web, app, and in-store channels.

You’ll work with Retail and Engineering teams to prototype tools, shape the platform, and push the boundaries of AI-driven customer experiences, in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed culture.

Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing environments.
• Builder and tinkerer's mindset with high agency and shipping focus.
• Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
• Excellent communication skills—clear, direct, and persuasive across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-grade AI agents that are central, reliable, and scalable.
• Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot through deployment and iteration.
• Collaborate with enterprises and startups to embed agents at scale across business stacks.
• Help shape the platform by surfacing unmet needs and prototyping tools and features.
