RTX Corporation offers a two-year Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) in Aerospace/Mechanical disciplines. You will rotate through three 8-month assignments nationwide, delivering mechanical and aerospace engineering work with mentorship and robust training.

The program aims to build future technical leaders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Participants gain exposure to hardware design, testing, validation, and cross-functional collaboration, while establishing a strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related STEM.
• Willing to relocate to RTX locations across the United States.
• Experience with CAD tools: SOLIDWORKS, Creo, CATIA, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience in mechanical and aerospace design, testing simulations, validation, or documentation.
• Relevant internship/co-op or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete three 8-month rotational assignments across U.S. locations.
• Execute engineering milestones within program tracks (mechanical design, testing, validation).
• Own frontline mechanical and aerospace engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, systems, and program management to define hardware requirements.
• Present technical reviews, simulation data, and engineering updates to stakeholders.
