RTX Corporation’s Engineering Leadership Development Program – Software Discipline invites strong graduates to rotate through three 8‑month assignments across U.S. sites. You will contribute to software design, development, testing, and documentation while collaborating with hardware and systems teams.

The program emphasizes leadership, hands‑on coding, and cross‑functional exposure to accelerate your technical growth within RTX’s enterprise software environment in Arlington, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, or related STEM.
• Willing and able to relocate to RTX locations across the United States for three 8‑month assignments.
• Internship, co‑op, or professional work experience in software engineering, embedded development, testing/implementation, or technical documentation.
• Experience with OO languages (Python, C++, Java, or C#).
• Coursework or experience in embedded/real‑time systems, data structures, or computer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Complete three 8‑month rotations across various U.S. locations.
• Execute core engineering milestones within software tracks (design, development, testing, documentation).
• Own frontline development deliverables and software codebases.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and program management teams to define software requirements and optimize deployment.
