Job summary

RTX Corporation in Arlington, VA, offers a two-year Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) for software. You will rotate across U.S. locations, tackle challenging assignments, and gain hands-on coding, testing, and documentation experience while building a global network.

The program targets STEM graduates, provides mentoring and exposure to multiple software disciplines, and launches in June 2027. A fast-paced environment is designed to accelerate technical and leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in CS/CE/EE or related STEM field, required by start date.
• Relocate to RTX locations across the United States for three 8-month rotations.
• Internship/co-op or professional work in software engineering, embedded development, or testing.
• Experience with OO languages (Python, C++, Java, or C#).
• Completes coursework in core computing fundamentals or computer architecture/digital logic.

Responsibilities

• Complete three 8-month rotations across U.S. locations, adapting to new centers and teams.
• Execute core milestones in software tracks: design, development, testing and documentation.
• Own frontline development deliverables and codebases.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems and program management to define software requirements.
• Present technical reviews, code demos, and engineering data to stakeholders.
