Job summary

RTX (RTX Corporation) is offering a two-year Engineering Leadership Development Program in Software. It provides high-visibility rotations, mentoring, and real-world coding in cutting-edge environments. The program starts mid-2027 and emphasizes leadership alongside technical growth.

Participants work across software applications, systems design, hands-on development, testing, and documentation. The path aims to build a lasting impact in RTX’s global software organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM major.
• Willing and able to relocate to various RTX locations across the United States for three 8-month assignments.
• Internship/co-op or work experience in software engineering, embedded development, source code development, testing and implementation, or technical documentation.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages and software development tools.
• Coursework or experience in embedded/real-time systems, data structures/algorithms, digital logic, computer architecture, or communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete three 8-month rotational assignments across various U.S. locations.
• Execute core engineering milestones in software design, development, testing, and documentation.
• Own frontline development deliverables and codebases across tracks.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and program management to define software requirements and deployment.
• Present technical reviews, code demos, and engineering data to stakeholders and leadership.
