Job summary

RTX Corporation seeks candidates for the two-year Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) in Aerospace/Mechanical disciplines. It offers challenging rotations across the enterprise, hands-on engineering in cutting-edge manufacturing, design, and test environments, and mentoring to accelerate leadership readiness.

Cohort begins June 2027. You'll gain exposure to cross-functional teams, tackle high-visibility projects, and build a global network while developing technical and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Willing and able to relocate to RTX locations across the United States for 8-month rotations.
• Experience with CAD tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Creo, CATIA, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience or coursework in mechanical/aerospace design, testing simulations, or design documentation.
• Relevant internship or co-op or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete three 8-month rotations across U.S. locations, adapting to new technology centers and teams.
• Execute engineering milestones in mechanical systems design, testing simulations, and documentation.
• Own frontline mechanical and aerospace engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, systems, and program management to define hardware requirements.
• Present technical reviews and engineering updates to stakeholders and leadership.
