Genie is launching an Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) in Bothell, WA with rotations in Manufacturing Engineering, Sustaining Design, and New Product Development or Robotics. Participants will relocate for each rotation and receive coaching and mentoring to prepare for a full‑time placement.

Open to candidates graduating in 2027 or within two years of graduation. First rotations begin June 21, 2027, in a structured three‑year program designed to build broad engineering

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited engineering bachelor’s degree or higher in robotics, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, computer engineering, or related fields.
• or a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Demonstrated accomplishments in academics, work experience, or extracurriculars.
• Experience in robotics, mechatronics, programming, electrical engineering, or automation.
• Commitment to three 12‑month assignments and full‑time placement after the program.
• Ability to relocate for each rotation to Redmond, Moses Lake, or Bothell, WA.

Responsibilities

• Complete three 12-month rotations across Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering – Sustaining Engineering, Design Engineering – New Product Development or Robotics.
• Develop a robust understanding of engineering functions and contribute to the technology strategy.
• Enjoy dedicated coaching and mentoring from product management and engineering teams.
• 3 week onboarding with full LDP cohort in Bothell, WA to start.
