Job summary

Genea is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a growing development team. You will participate in the full SDLC from analysis to deployment, building scalable software with a strong focus on quality and delivery excellence.

The role combines hands-on architectural leadership with people management across diverse, cross-geography SCRUM teams. You will report to the CTO and collaborate with Product and Ops to drive product roadmaps, optimize processes, and ensure timely delivery while

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total experience and 3+ years in a team lead role.
• Experience in microservice and event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency in backend and frontend JavaScript ecosystems.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and Agile practices.
• Experience estimating work and delegating tasks.
• Testing practices include unit/integration tests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Customer-focused, strategic thinker with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive team efforts and oversee multiple SCRUM teams.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Lead design, strategy, and execution of software projects.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on new features.
• Manage large engineering teams to align with goals.
